We support two different modes to show a live view from your camera:

Live streaming

We re-stream and transcode the stream content coming from your camera to the live streaming provider.

We recommend YouTube Live or Twitch. You need your own account and use the stream-URL and key given in the providers stream setup in webcam.io.

Time-lapse

The time-lapse mode is still-image based and we collect images to show a time-lapse effect via frame player. generating videos. The frame player always shows the latest images. Downloadable videos are available at the end of the day and on demand (creating time-lapse video clips).
